Aldan is a very user-friendly smart app that can be used offline. The program simplifies all maintenance, as users can access all data related to safety and educational issues in one place.

We have been using Alda since the beginning and have been involved in the development of this great addition to marine safety. My experience is that with the use of Alda, safety awareness has increased significantly on board, all access to safety issues has increased greatly, as people have everything in the app on their phone, wherever people are, they can view and reflect on safety issues on board their ship Aldan is in constant development with many exciting updates in the future that I look forward to taking advantage of here on board Páli. Aldan has proved to be very useful for us, both for keeping track of exercises at the beginning of a fishing trip, monitoring equipment and training newbies. Everything goes through Alda, what goes well and what needs to be fixed. Comments are sent directly to the safety officer and the ship manager so that they are immediately informed.

I receive messages whether I'm at sea or on land when exercises are held, can see an overview of all exercises and control of safety equipment in one place. All comments regarding exercises or monitoring of safety equipment must be returned to the safety team of Samherji in Land through Alda, who then helps us to resolve it. That way, things are immediately processed and improvements are made. I wholeheartedly recommend Alda and I can imagine that Alda will become dominant among larger fishing companies in a short time, in fact I would like to go further and make this mandatory as soon as today.

Since we started using the Alda safety and training system on board our ships, there has been a great awareness of the importance of safety. All equipment inspections, drills and recruit training have made a huge difference and increased communication and collaboration within the crews, as everyone works together to ensure a safer work environment. It will be interesting to see where this system takes us as it has been well received on board our ships.

Aldan is an excellent tool to have an overview and control of exercises held at sea. I also get along better with crews. Sailors provide information about their ideas on what can be done better and also things that can be fixed then how through the app.
