Alda Safety selected for the "national team" of startups in the blue economy

Alda Safety has recently been selected as part of the "national team" of blue economy startups by the Icelandic Ocean Cluster. The list includes 20 companies that all have in common that they are working on innovative and important solutions within ocean and marine-related activities.
Morgunblaðið's coverage states that there has been a great deal of growth in innovation related to the blue economy in recent years and that ingenuity and technological solutions are playing an increasingly important role in the development of the sector.
Alda Safety is among the companies selected for the list, for the development of a digital safety management system for fishing vessels based on collaboration with Icelandic fishermen and fishing company operators. The aim of the solution is to enhance safety training, regular safety inspections and safety awareness on board ships.
It is a great honor to be selected for this group and confirms that the work we have put into strengthening safety culture at sea is paying off. We thank the Icelandic Ocean Cluster for the recognition and look forward to continuing to develop solutions that contribute to increased safety and better working conditions in the Icelandic fishing industry.
